The Dark Knight and American's Fear of the Counter-Revolution

How interesting it was to watch the Dark Knight Rises.  Hundreds of years after America's capitalist revolution, they deal with their anxiety of a counter-revolution (of the lazy proletariat taking to the streets) through fantasy.  This counter-revolutionary anxiety seems to recurrently re-appears in American history (e.g. fear of communism, zero-tolerance policies) but is also managed via the movies.  The counter-revolution, here (and spoiler alert) is only temporary and order is restored and anxiety is reassured again.
